Expert in 'Gender & Innovation', Marie-Hélène THERRE intervenes with companies – SMEs large accounts-, the European Commission, and in Universities; she also is a member of the Taskforce ‘Innovation in Industry’ within the European network COST-GenderSTE and actively contributes to the work of the European and North American international experts group pioneer in 'Innovation & Gender '.
 

Thus, she contributes to the knowledge and successful practices in:

• Implementation of gender equity policies in organizations,

• Integration of the gender dimension in the content of innovation and research projects.

Graduate engineer, Marie-Hélène headed for over 20 years, multicultural teams of engineers at Cray Research - Silicon Graphics, a manufacturer of supercomputers in the field of scientific computing.

 

Customer Services Operations Manager in Southern Europe, she led strategic projects for the company and its major clients. It was during these years that she learned to become the lawyer of her clients and teams and integrate into her practices the Voice Of Customer and People!

 

Her active participation since 2004 in HR and AFNOR groups, her group dynamics practices, her work on women engineers in technical environments led her to gradually move her interventions and her business support programs towards every aspects of the gender dimension in organizations and its impact on management, innovation as well as team and company performance.

 

She is certified Coach & Team - V. Lenhardt, Cabinet Transformance- with a specialization in group dynamics at work and a certified practitioner of the Help Relationship 'Group Carl Rogers'.

 

Finally, invested citizen, she puts her professional expertise and the energy of a working woman in community service through her contributions and executive mandates in associations: Honorary President of the french association Women Engineers, member of the Executive Council of World Federation of Engineering Organizations (2008-2012), Past-President and Founder of the WIE Committee (2008-2011) and also is a member of   Voxfemina and the ‘Women In Engineering Network’.

Depending on the nature of the projects and the approach to achieve the customer’s needs, Marie-Hélène collaborates with pleasure with partners who have a great knowledge of the companies. They are recognized for their expertise and quality of intervention and animation. They share the same approach to the gender dimension and its impact on management, innovation and team performance:
